Will you be my valentine?

Jordan was given a small heart box of choclates from a girl at school. (NOT in his class!) When he came home instead of gloating about the box of choclates he had all to himself he announced that he would share them with everyone but mom gets to pick first. Smart boy!

Dental Fun!

Due to Megan's fear of medical professionals and her gag reflex we didn't get a good dental check up from her until last July. She had a huge hole in one of her teeth. It looks like it just didn't form correctly, you could have stuck a q-tip in it. Our regular dentist tried to fix it. He had her all numbed up and everything but any time he tipped her back and stuck his fingers in her mouth she would throw up. After the forth time he gave up. So we found a pediatric dentist that could sedated her and made the exam appt. This dentist was pretty confident that he could fill it with all white filings. So we made her the sedation appt. He was almost done when he realized that there just wasn't enough tooth there to fill with the white filling and not have the tooth either crack or get infected so he wrapped her entire tooth in stainless steel! The good thing is luckily this is a baby tooth. So she will only be sporting around this baby tooth for the next few years. (Jordan was SO jealous!)

Birthday Girl!

Megan turned 7 last week! We went swimming as a family on Friday and then had her favorite spaghetti dinner. Then on Saturday she had some friends over for a party. She had a good time! She pooled her grandparent money and got a hot pink ipod shuffle, she got a bunch of Hannah Montana and High School Musical games/stuff, a watch, and this little yorkie dog that she named Beverly so "her mom wouldn't miss her sister as much." (We tried to get Yogi to play with it but he only attacked it once before he figured out it was just a pile of fur. He still has to sniff it every morning to make sure its not real though!)

My parents came to visit this past weekend! We took a much needed family picture. It's not perfect but with our busy schedule it will have to do. I think the one of kids/grandparents turned out good though.

Sledding

We took the kids sledding the other day at the park near our house. It was really busy with school being out and everything. I had a really hard time getting pictures of Jordan because he was running around crazy with his friends. Here are some of the near freezing memories:
