Yogi's summer cut

Yogi went to the groomer on Monday and I told her to go ahead and cut him really short. I thought he was getting kinda pudgy but I guess it was just all the fur. Without it he looks so tiny!

Abby and Jordan have talent!

Abby and Jordan both tried out for the school talent show and made it! Abby will be singing "See You Again" by Miley Cyrus. Jordan is jump roping with 2 other boys. The Talent Show will be on May 9th. Megan wanted to try out to sing "Ever Ever After" but when she got up to sing in front of the judges she was too nervous to sing!

Jordan soccer

Here are a couple of pics of Jordan's last soccer game. He likes to play goalie too. The other team did score once on him but he does a pretty good job.

Only one final!!

In my nutrition class this semester if you have an A going into the final you don't have to take it. There was some homework and three tests. I took the 2nd test 30 mins after working a 12 hr night shift. It did not go well. I got a 74%. Anyway I didn't have much hope but after 100% on my last test I have a 94% for the class!! That means I only have to take one final. It happens to be during the very last exam time of the semester. Oh well, at least I'll have lots of time to study.

Today

Today was my first day not at my old job. Its not really my first day at my new job because I've been there for a while, just not as much as I will be now. So anyway, I got home at 5:00 am instead of 8:30. Got 2 hrs of sleep, got the kids out the door, got all nice and comfy back in my bed and the phone rang. Abby forgot her glasses. So, I begrudgingly got out of bed and took them to her. On the way home Yogi started to gag. (He has been sick for 2 days. I have changed 3 beds and shampooed the family room carpet.) So while I am trying to drive I am also trying to catch his puke in my sweatshirt. Not that I wanted him to puke on me, I would just rather wash my shirt than shampoo the car seats or floor. Yogi was trying extra hard not to puke on his mom. I was driving, trying to keep him from jumping off my lap, and pulling my sweatshirt under his face that he was flailing around in an effort not to puke on me. So after much struggle, he puked on me. Anyhow, now I can't sleep. But in my insomnia I scored 77,170 on text twist. If all goes well I will get 2 1/2 hrs of sleep after Meg goes to school. Yea for me!

5,7,3,9,2

I think it's so cute to listen to little kids learn to count. I watched the nieces and nephews for a while this morning. Peyton and Megan decided to play hide and seek. Carter followed them around listening to them count to 10. Then I got to listen to him count. 1,2,7,4,9,5. Cute baby!

How Many Clothes Do They Need Really?

Keeping up with things around the house has been a challenge lately. I try to do laundry every Monday so people will at least have clean clothes! One Mon after Abby went to school I told Meg that if she would go gather all of the dirty clothes in their room I would have Abby finish the cleaning when she got home. A little while later I walked past their room and this is what I saw:

Seriously, how many clothes do they need?

More Soccer

Here are some pics of Megan and Abby's soccer games last Sat. Ben took a camera to Jordan's game but the batteries were dead! It was SO windy but they all played anyway. We took a few pics of Yogi because we thought he looked so funny in the wind. Abby played goalie for the second half. She actually did pretty good but her team is getting so good she really only had to block once. She got the ball. Her coach yells REALLY loud and its always fun to hear him yell "good job Abby!"

Abby's 1st game of the season

Abby had her 1st soccer game last Saturday. She is a great player but still lets the boys handle the offense! She loves playing defender. Not that that's bad I just want her to get the whole experience. I am hoping to spend all my free time (all 20 mins of it) this summer playing soccer with the kids.

Puppies

Yogi's second batch of puppies was successfully delivered last week. Seven puppies were delivered which is the largest litter for yorkies I have ever heard of. She was a little bigger. We probably won't see the puppies because the owners are a little crazy. It's good to know all involved are healthy and well!
