Happy Spring!

March 13th and this is the scene outside.

This storm gave us a total of 9" which is more than any other this year I am pretty sure.

On a happier note. I got into the IHC RN program so as soon as spring is turning into summer I will be starting school and will be one step closer to finishing!

Don't touch my mama!

Something snapped this past summer in Yogi. He became very protective with all of the babies around. Since he hasn't been hanging out with the babies as much he has turned his protective urges to me. If I am sleeping, or even laying down, he doesn't let anyone approach me from my side of the bed. Ben can get in from his side but if he tries to get in my side of the bed Yogi growls, bites and yips at him. He is more aggressive in his playing with Ben and Ben definitely eggs him on. When the kids come to give me a hug he jumps at them. He won't actually bite them or growl at them but he will lick them.

Don't Touch My Mama!

Megan's big day

I can't believe I let a month go by without posting this! Megan and Haylee got baptized on Megan's Birthday.

Here are the two girls:

It was nice to have so much family there and for Megan to have been able to share this day with her cousin and best friend Haylee!

Our basketball star

Jordan's basketball season is in full swing. Please excuse the quality of the pics. It took me a bit to get the lighting right and before I could perfect my action shots the battery died!

Jordan has made a couple of baskets per game. He has also had quite a few assists including one this game where he passed the ball halfway down the court over ALL of the players to the coach's kid who then scored the shot. Its going to be a fun season watching him progress.
GO JORDAN!

Happy Birthday Ben

Last week was Ben's birthday. He got mostly books and dvds. We are also going to go pick out a new bbq grill sometime in the next few weeks.
Happy birthday Ben, we love you.

Christmas night

After all of the Christmas mayhem was over Bill, Nancy and Stephanie came over to hang out for a while. It was so fun to let the kids play and visit with family. I wish everyone could have been here!

Its a Christmas Miracle!!

This was our first 'bite-free' Christmas. We made sure that no chocolate was brought out during the gift opening because that seems to be what our little one feels so deprived of.

Here's Yogi trying to be a good boy:

Still trying to be a good boy:

"See mom, I can be a good boy!"

Christmas 2009

We had a nice quiet Christmas at home. It was so nice to open gifts and just be together and I didn't have to run off to work right after!

Coming down to see what Santa brought.

Look at all of that loot!

Hope you all had a great Christmas too!

Christmas Eve Sledding

Christmas Eve morning Ben organized a sledding party. It was so much fun! I feel a tradition coming on! The babies were such good sports while we all played in the snow.
The first run Greta got covered in snow and didn't appreciate it but after that she had so much fun and was SO sad when it was time to leave!

Here is a picture overload of the fun:
