New York

I just got back from another visit with Beverly & Tom and kids. We mostly hung out at home digital scrapbooking and then we went to Thousand Islands on Saturday. Here are pics of poor Cameron. He is teething, chewing and drooling!!! (He also jumps more than any baby I know. This is who the jonny jumper was made for!)

Here is a pic of Ryan (having his picture taken is not on his list of fun things to do!)

Park Day

Yesterday the kids and I headed out to the park before I had to go to work. The kids had fun on the swings and then we threw a frisbee around. Summer is going to be over before we know it! We look forward to it all year and then it is too hot to really enjoy! School's should start in the winter and give us the fall off!!

Lagoon

We went to Ben's work Lagoon day this year. It has been years since either of us has been. After triple digit temps it will be a few more before we go back. A week later my sunburn is still peeling (second layer) and cracking! We did have fun but we had to leave around 3:30 when the heat was unbearable and the line rides were 2 hours long. We went to Smith's Marketplace to replace the sunglasses I lost on the Bat and to Sam Pan for dinner. After that we went back for more fun. I can't tell you how great 95 degrees felt after enduring 103 all afternoon. Here are some pics from the day. They had rides only little kids could ride so Meg had fun on those while the others went for the big ones!

The kids' favorite ride was the bat. Even Meg liked this one. It's fast like a roller coaster but you are suspended from the track so it feels more like flying than riding a roller coaster.

My favorite ride was the dragonfly. It is a kids ride that adults can ride. It has swings and goes around in circles which sounds nauseating but it was actually quite relaxing. This last pic is to show off my beatiful burn!

Pioneer Day Camping

We got to go camping for a few days for the 24th of July. We had fun roasting hot dogs and marshmellows and just hanging out away from school and work for a while. Even Yogi came to hang out at the campfire. He just hates to be left out of anything. I have to say though he is not exactly an "outdoorsy" sort of dog!

Megan and Jordan kept climbing through some trees near our campground. I love the way these pictures turned out!

Memory Game

1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.And if you're just a "lurker" that I don't know very well, please use this as an excuse to comment and say hello!

Back to Soccer

We were going to skip soccer this year because we are so busy and Ben did not enjoy trying to juggle 3 kids in soccer basically by himself last year. However, I feel bad saying no to Meg because she has only played 2 years and really loves it and Abby got invited to play on the girls development team! Its triple the cost and triple the time commitment of regular soccer! It will be good for her though. She will have a real coach and will be put in the competition league in a few years and will most likely be able to play on the high school team from there. We'll see how it goes her first 3 hour practice is tomorrow night. Good luck Abby!

Jordan got baptized this weekend. I had to work the night before and the night after so if I look a little wasted, I am! Here are the pics:
